I have garlic that I love. A neighbor who was in her 80s gave us bulbs that she has been planting (clone cloves every year) for 30+ years. I know they are supposed to be clones but she said she always saved the biggest ones from year to year. I have to wonder if there is some sort of epigenetic selection or something cuase these garlic are incredible. I have never seen garlic this big. We have been doing the same for the last 5 years. It never occurred to me to let it flower and save seeds. I just might do that this year with some of it and see what happens
