It’s interesting that you’re showing BTC vs. gold in ounces. For me, this comparison makes much more sense.

Comparing BTC to a weak currency like the USD always looks favorable, of course. Even the Swiss franc—although it, too, is heavy manipulated by the SNB—would be a better benchmark than the dollar.

For everyday use, BTC/USD might be practical, but if you really want to gauge Bitcoin’s strength, you should compare it to something with real stability and value.

This is why the people should hold reserves and a national bitcoin reserve is a bad idea.
