Not really news. The Biden government was already putting pressure on the international organizations that were supporting this Brics currency. the difference is that trump does things openly.
President Trump stated that BRICS will cease to exist very soon and reaffirmed his threat to impose a 100% tariff on the bloc’s countries if they move forward with the idea of a common currency for foreign trade.
