How much do you really know about the masons?

I was invited to join a lodge some years back. I went through with the initiation, but I ended up never going back because I felt like it wasn't for me. However, it was interesting to see people fly in from all over the world for a bi-annual meeting - police chiefs and such, when this was one of the smaller lodges. I spent quite a bit of time studying the ins and outs of freemasonry afterwards, and it's really quite an interesting group.

There are a lot similarities with how the masons structure their lodges and how things are compartmentalised in society, government and institutions. It's how I believe that the people who rule over us get away with so much. Albert had a lot to share about them, too. Symbology is huge in that world.
