Replying to Nym-Node

Is it really different than giving your social security number to any credit card company or bank?

As far as the computer is concerned it's just a bunch of ones and zeros that identify you.

It has nothing to do with the computer, it's about where it goes and how it's used once it leaves the device, which it always does.
