The purity movement is a psyop attack on the gospel of grace. It's close enough to what the Bible teaches to be credible but denies the gospel. It results in efforts of adherent being directed towards a futile attempt to achieve a pre-fall condition, accepting nothing short of perfection. It sets the movement against the base desire of intimacy, ensuring it remains socially marginal.
