Valid point, but this goes beyond inflation. Politics for politicians sake. Divisiveness and hatred. No focus on actual needs or actual problems with actual solutions. Winners and losers.
Why engage with a dying and incredibly corrupt system?

Engaging brings awareness. There's also a power dynamic to be built that can leverage existing failing infrastructure
Awareness drives engagement. All government actions should be conducted with maximum transparency. Technology must be leveraged to improve awareness if engagement is the goal.
Engagement, awareness, and transparency are political aversions.
