If you have pyrex cookware that looks like the picture, throw it out (or know that you can never put it in the oven/microwave). It’s contemporary shit soda lime glass that has a tendency to explode due to thermal shock.

If you have PYREX (all caps), keep it because that’s the good shit: borosilicate glass with a thermal shock tolerance to withstand going from ovens/microwaves to room temperature surfaces.
