My auto insurance went up 29% compared to one year ago.

In completely unrelated news, half the tv ads and billboards I see around town are for personal injury attorneys.

Try 100% in the UK. Had a small dink at 4mph (literally rolled in neutral in to a Range Rover in a carpark) and the driver's wife who is a lawyer is taking it all the way with whiplash claim. Even my insurance company told me they'll fight it and win... but still increased my yearly fee 100%.

Worst thing is even if she withdraws the claim a year from now, I remain fucked financially.

She owns zero bitcoin though so she's fucked at end game. That's my perspective.

Get quotes and switch every year or so to keep the rates low.

Not a bad strategy, but it only cuts a small % off your premiums. Rates are up everywhere.
