Put in a new water filter for the garden. These ones for koi ponds etc are way bigger and better value than the other options I have seen.

It would be nice if there was a stainless steel inline one you could empty and put your own carbon in. But this will have to do for now.

You can buy stainless steel canisters. They're expensive, but not like the craziest of expenses. The filter part is the bigger issue.

I was thinking something turned on a lathe but that sounds interesting. What would.i search to find something like that?

The filter is usually easy to make from charcoal some mesh and usually some silver to control bacterial growth.

Just buy one? They make them in the same sizes as the plastic ones.
