I'd be interested to know how they know this since ID has blocked adult content for years. Are they searching for ID language settings?

yes, not sure about this either but there are few isp that 'kinda' dont 100% block adult sites, eg. the one im on now, all i have to do is just switch to cloudflare 1.1.1.1 dns and all blocked sites are accessible while my ip address still in 🇮🇩 🤷🏻‍♂️

I use 9.9.9.9 on clearnet because it's more private, less blocky and decentralises against cloudflare and google (which I have as my 2nd in my router config) though I admit cloudflare has the best latency of all DNS.

nice, i might have to try 9.9.9.9
