That was not my question. Does the app have access to my unencrypted private key.
Yes, and any other app could have access too once you've entered it on an internet-connected device. What makes this worse than username/password logins is your followers and stuff don't all automatically transfer if you need to change your key. People will really want this fixed more and more as time goes on.
