Trump lies again big time suggesting Ukraine can win back all territory and more, if Europe and NATO support them. Why he is lying is understandable as it addresses the concerns of his inner circle that the USA is losing its reach, of the mass media saying he is weak and of the American public mad for his spending on a losing cause.

It is a totally intractable problem and like covid, many other politicians would simply quote the official media lie until the thing collapsed, then take a new position entirely.

Here Trump takes it a step further and says everything is fine and because the media is such a horrendous liar itself, it is in no position to "correct the record"
