Congrats on the ⚡️

I appreciate the realness of the post here.

There are MILLIONS of golfers who struggle with the same thing. It goes to show how important mental strength is in golf.

I challenge you to start listening to the Touch Grass - A Golfer’s Journey series I just started doing. We’re 7 episodes in now.

The focus is practical and enjoyable ways to play better golf. Learning about mindset, course strategy, managing expectations, etc.

Thank you Jor! Added your podcast to my list and will give y’all a listen on my drive back home tonight. I read somewhere that 98% of all golfers that add every stroke and follow all the rules never break 90. I know I got a lot better the day I decided I was never gonna be as good as the pros and learned how to play with more defense. Learn how to layup and practice the hell out of the 90-140 yard shots and watch your score drop.

The shots around the green can up so quickly.

As a kid, my little brother and I would spend HOURS chipping around the greens and having competitions. It’s saved me a lot of strokes in my life.

Part of my struggle with golf lately is that I’ve become too reliant on getting up and down though.

So my goal for the next few years is to become a better iron player. Rely less on the scrambling.
