You're so right about this. I have said a few times for those want to hear, that I remember Reagan and Bush Sr., and Clinton, and Dubya, and Obama. I remember when the Neocons took over the GOP, then the Evangelical nutcases. It was impossible to support them and perfectly reasonable to vote for Obama. Now it's the other way around.

Now Trump has destroyed the Neocon infiltrators, but he really needs to keep the Jesus freaks in line if he wants to get anything done before and after the mid terms, and more importantly, to put something durable in place and secure the continuity of this "Unity Party" he has put together.

My point being, it's perfectly reasonable to think that the GOP goes back to where it was with Bush Dubya, and become toxic and tyrannical again. People need to detach themselves from party labels.
