It may not be an ear infection, you maybe getting allergies or getting a cold due to planning for the event. How do you know it’s middle ear? Did you try nasal decongestant does it still hurt? Is there any fluid from the ear? @jack

Take some pain medication 💊 use a warm compress( towel soaked in warm water, drain the excess water)

Colloidal silver, just dilute and either spray or dab depending on how sensitive the ear is.
