Tried posting on both, but my posts didn't show in nblog even though I made sure the relays matched. Tried putting the relays in the environment variables with and without the "wss://" (got 500 server error with the wss so guessing it's meant to be without?) and redeployed after every change but no luck.

Wiped it in the end, might try again this weekend and self-host it this time instead of using Vercel.

No you absolutely need the wss, also did you put in "npub" or just a hex key?

For you public key env variable

Huh weird because with the wss:// I got a 500 server error.

Tried both npub and hex. GitHub said it's meant to be hex so that's what I used for most tries. Neither worked.

Could you post your config please?

can?

Justify why I should though.

Deleted my Vercel profile now but it was:

Pub key:

f0ff87e7796ba86fc84b4807b25a5dee206d724c6f61aa8853975a39deeeff58

Relays:

wss://bitcoinforthe.lol,wss://relay.damus.io,wss://brb.io

Then it was just my name and pfp from my regular profile.

I also tried adding and removing relays. Always showed 500 server error no matter what.

What time did you deploy at? I pushed an update that adds reactions but requires the env variable to be set or the whole server crashes

Fascinating

Literally a few hours ago. I've deployed Written instead now, it has a better UX, post creation, and lightning buttons on posts. Works perfectly. But since this is all on Nostr, I can always switch around effortlessly in the future so I'll keep an eye on what comes next.

Got it. This is only v0.2.0 so there's a lot of updates to come until 1.0.0

Long flight home.

🪂

Time to cold hard kept cash.
