Because you just need to hold your keys. 🤙
Your keys can be memorized, set in paper or metal and never touch a signing device/hww, it's true.
But how would you safely sign transactions using that knowledge if not through a device like this?
I'm not going to enter my private key into an Internet connected device in order to broadcast a transaction, that's for sure.
You can use an old computer/cell phone. But I still don't worry about that, once in cold storage my coins are frozen. I don't plan on moving them anytime soon. 🥶
For a people with the technical skills, there easy ways to protect your information in a cold storage fashion.
Remember when Ledger was hacked?
If I fail, I only want myself to blame.
