yeah this is just recreating the existing system...

"Planning, limits, and processes are essential to have down in writing in advance, though. Many people insist "its not needed", a "Gentleman's Agreement" will do. They're the ones who expect to make rules and limits for others whilst obeying none themselves..."

I'm all about "freedom from". But you need a pre-agreed dispute process, and buy in/buy out policies for exit and entry.

If you don't, someone is gonna get butthurt and call in the State.

I couldn't get any agreement on processes, or even the need for such. And then they started going all HOA-Karen...

Lol what is HOA Karen?😅

Home Ownership Association.

Its a thing they have in the USA, halfway between a Body Corporate and a municipal council.

Famous for blue-haired Karen's democratically micromanaging how short people's lawns have to be, and the size of TV antennas.

Not convinced its as common as some Americans say, but I don't want to find out.

Not signing up for anything that lets my neighbours vote on what I'm allowed to do, unless I'm doing some real Tort of Nuisance material.

Ah gotcha yeah that would suck!
