Nose beers have always been the alcohol of the bar bathroom stall.
Cocaine has been FDA approved and Schedule II for a long long time. There's always been medical use an anesthetic, it's just not as common as it once was.
No substance should ever be schedule 1 though, IMO. Nothing should be so illegal it can't be researched.
