Sad. Nostr definitely feels more like a network of people just being people. Hopefully as it grows it continues to be that way instead of becoming another attention-harvesting machine. I think #value4value and user control are at the heart of ensuring that.

I would think this too, but also I feel a lot of people just don't care about these things even though we think they would. Maybe over a longer timeline that changes a bit.

Maybe it’s more accurate for me to say V4V and user control make it possible to ensure that, but they don’t guarantee it, because you’re right, unless enough people care about it and build on Nostr around those ideals, then things could go a different way.
