My boy's school plans third week in September as adapting one. All the kids (it's a school of 40 in total) travel for a few nights to the hotel in the mountains.

I think it's a great thing, to gather them all and let them (re)connect after summer break, fit in larger group and all that, but my baby is so little🥲

Already going to the first grade🥲

And Idk if he can make it🥲

But he's big enough and might enjoy it, since he's starting along with his preschool gang🥲

That sounds fun, I'd be so worried too. Does he want to do it? If he does, then even with the anxiety I'd say do it. We try to not harp on things like that, we'll talk about it and then move on. All of our anxiety is better that way 😂

We'll see about that. He'll be two weeks in first grade, I'm ready to pick him up if anything gets bad, so it's up to him. I think it's early, 3rd grade seems fine to me for such trips. But when it comes to adjusting to a new group, especially when the kids are grade 1-9 and only around 40 total, it might be fine to get o know them deeper right away, he'll be scared otherwise.

I think you'll know by the time he goes. He might find someone that he really clicks with and it'll be fun.
