I have this problem where I remember things I need to do as I am laying in bed or in the middle of the night. I’m such a light sleeper if I get up to write it down I may stay awake for hours after. Trying to think of a solution that doesn’t involve turning on lights or a phone. No smart devices either. I’m leaning towards an old fashioned audio recorder with minimal screen and just buttons. Any ideas?

Good old fashioned pen & paper scribbling in the dark?

I say this because I used to record my dreams/nightmares/anything I could remember when I woke up from sleep.

Any light would keep me up for hours.

I kept a full size notebook with pen ready to go on my nightstand.
