Work has been completely nuts. I wanted to watch how the new administration moves for a bit before I said too much online. Just observing really.
In my free time, I decided that I wanted to renovate my old farm house by myself with no experience. It’s been rewarding and physically demanding. I’m trying to make a hobbit hole/wizard cottage. 🪄

Restoring an old house can be very rewarding.
It’s funny that I’m doing it because I’m kind of a girly girl but getting dirty feels good kinda. 😂

we have about 25 acres with a creek in the middle. above the creek is a hill where we are going to dig out the space and then build the house from materials from our property. we may have to order the door. 😉
our goal is that it is a legitimate hobbit house with a grass roof and baked mud/straw walls. we're still qorking on the layout.
I had the same instinct regarding the new administration. They might silence me anyway, but I'm trying to move carefully for now.
I like to pause when I can. Just watch for a bit.
