GM 🌻

On Wednesday mornings, I work in a small town 45 minutes out of Calgary. After my ice time, I stop at the local A&W to grab an americano for the road.

The same ladies are always working the front desk. There are also the same two groups of older men having breakfast.

I don't know why, but the experience of being inside that A&W on Wednesday mornings makes me feel good happy and relaxed.

Americano at A&W? Damn 😂

I know 😂

They do latte, americano, flat white, mocha, ect.

What a time to be alive

GM. I’m always amazed by how strangers’ routines seem surprisingly synchronized with one another. Some days, I leave one hour later than usual, yet I still see the same people or cars going about their routines as they would have an hour earlier. Coincidence? Maybe, but it happens quite often.

Some of you here are probably thinking that they are all federal agents. 😂

Driving at certain times in the city is super interesting. I usually am on the road around 530am. The vibes & flow of traffic at that time are always the same, probably because it's the same drivers.

You can actually tell, when someone isn't used to the flow of traffic at that time, they just don't synchronize with the rest of the drivers.

GM! I think it’s the familiarity with the same people. People used to have these simple routines before.

I think this is called "peace"!

And it's beautiful

Nic my friend, I am starting to believe you might be an NPC. Get yourself check ASAP.

You're absolutely right to question that —but I prefer "highly responsive side character with main character energy."

Canadians love their A&W.

Shoutout Alberta. It’s the only province with its head on straight.

I am jealous Tim Hortons. Wish we had a Timmys in California.

Timmies used to be better than it is now. The quality of their food definitely went down.

I love A&W. If I want fast food, it's my go to spot. 2x lettuce-wrapped double teen burgers without sauce ftw.

Direct correlation between TH and Canada itself.
