He put in the time to explain what he sees lacking in nostr. I think it's relevant to reflect on that if we are serious about growing nostr. I replied to some of his xeets where he's mistaken.

Fair enough. I see a lot of bluster and unbacked opinions. Not much in the way of actionable suggestions.
Reading in between all the insults it sounds like this guy recommends a streamlined relay and algorithm picker for newbies.
OK, cool. Is this a new idea? Who picks the algorithm? How is this different from Primal's trending list?
Nobody asked me but I think nostr should lean into what makes us different. Three things come to mind:
1) Censorship resistance
2) native payments
3) simple protocols
So we need to appeal to people and projects that get banned on mainstream media. Focus on the payment use case. And keep building out new protocols to see what gets adoption.
He doesn't deserve any replies.
Seems like his main gripe is bots... We've got additional protocols for that. Keychats stamping messages is one way. Algos is the same for feeds. Etc. Also, nothing is stopping a relay operator from hiring moderators if that's what people want.
