Researchers at Ledger's Donjon lab recently used a laser to partially expose one of three chips used to secure master keys in the Coldcard Mk4 hardware wallet.

There is no reason to be overly concerned in this case. This exploit requires physical access to the device and illustrates why you shouldn't leave hardware wallets just lying around. Keep your devices in access-controlled locations, and use multiple keys for significant amounts.
