#[0] do you think it is reasonable to rely almost entirely on the wine filter? I was trying to cut down my 20+ relay list for performance, and am currently down to 6 comprised of wine filter and paid relays. Seems to be working well but unsure if this is a good setup

I only use nostr.wine/filter.nostr.wine, but ultimately it is up to the individual to determine if it’s reasonable for them.
The main risks are 1) when/if filter goes down temporarily you’ll be missing content/reach and 2) we could stop broadcasting your events without telling you (we won’t, but you can verify your posts are being sent to the relays we say they are anytime to mitigate this risk).
My view - relays in your country for speed, around the world where they speak your language for reach. Mainly, if not all, paid ones.
