The fact that the divide in America between left and right is such as it is, and centred around the issues which it is, at present, demonstrates - quite obviously - that history won't necessarily judge tyrants/fascists/whatevers harshly, because the victors write the history, and indoctrination is powerful

History is "the study of the human past as it is described in written documents left behind by humans," not something that makes judgments. ... it can''t judge. Only people can, based on that documentation/memory. The phrase annoys me.

The other point is that these morons don't care because they'll be dead once they're "history."
