Good morning Nostr.

Lately I've been losing my motivation in the gym.. I hate it but I'll shoe up and the little bitch inside my head wins more often than not.

I want to say that it has to do with the fact that I'm working all the time and preparing for a baby to arrive in our home, but no I know I can put more effort into my workouts.

I need to get in here more often than I have been. I used to show up everyday and put I'm an hour now I'll show up every other day...

Send help guys. I need to figure this out.

Discipline hurts

Do the things you don’t want to do that will get you to the place you want to be

Purpose > pain

Don't beat yourself up when you put on bany weight. It happens to the dads too.

The gym isn't important. Don't get attached to it.

You can always jog behind a stroller.

Use the baby for curls.

Get creative.

Have you been lifting for years? If so, it is pretty normal to lose some interest eventually. I would recommend switching it up and trying a new activity (preferably one you do not like). In like a month you will be missing the gym. At least that is what I did.

If you recently started lifting and are burning out then I would say to switch up your training/structure. Incorporating new lifts is always fun.
