How do you like using coconut oil vs olive oil

I’m hoping it turns out purple but we will see. I’ve never used olive oil to make my own so I can’t compare that
ok thanks - I have purple flowers at the plants at my house - my parents house they have some blue flower comfrey.
With the coconut oil do you start with solid and not add beeswax later or do you use liquid coconut oil?
I start with solid coconut oil and add it to a small crock pot then add the leaves. After I strain it I add beeswax and vitamin e oil
