Public hanging. It used to be a thing, and I think it needs to be a thing again. Slow, methodical, with a cleric there to take confession before they go to die. Those who are convicted of possession of CP should be required to go to the hangings.

(I might support a hard labor sentence for something short of trafficking and direct abuse.)
