How is it 0 fee if it costs a bitcoin transaction to setup the channel htlc?
If your lightning app doesn’t have channel management then it’s doing you a big disservice. In Vancouver almost every vendor uses nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch , so I can open a channel to them and have 0 fee, instant and reliable payments wherever I go in the city.

Serious question. I manage my node and every channel opened required I make an onchain transaction to fund it. So if there's another way of doing this that's zero fees I'd like to know.
Are you using an lsp and hoping the absorb the cost (free to you)?
Are you only talking about inbound liquidity and coins absorbs the cost to recoup later in forwarding fees? TANSTAAFL
