Yes, but I generate the PDF, HTML, and UTF-8 forms from the same source file, and I don't really know the epub format well enough. I haven't been impressed with pandoc's general output, though I don't think I've used it for this particular purpose, at least not in a long while.

Do you have suggestions?

I'm sure I don't know enough about your source files. I just know it would be easy if you're starting with something like a Word document. But I'm guessing you're not using something like that. So I don't know.
