I’m starting to think Twitter is quite bad for mental health. Regardless of who is feeding you the content, much of it drains the soul.

Fight videos, environmental disasters, political and human rights atrocities. It’s endless.

Twitter is the only social media I use, and the incentives to keep using it are diminished as each day passes.

Nostr gives me hope that something new is here that incentives people to spread positivity and truth. We need it to catch hold of the masses.

Nostr is similar to Bitcoin in that it gives us hope of a fair future for our children. We need to fight for Bitcoin and Nostr; for if they fail, the future is bleak and uncertain.

I agree ⚡️🤙🫂

On the spot. Especially with these aggressive fighting videos. I read from a fellow nostrich, the algorithm's goal is to make you mad and hate people.

Basically, so you become afraid, lose hope, and somehow keep consuming shit you don't need.

It’s difficult to see the point of Twitter when so many people spend significant time on the platform and the only thing they get in return is fear, anger and anxiety. No monetary incentive. No optimism.

Nostr is beyond refreshing.

When we are brainwashed for almost a decade –since FB and the likes started–doing anything to get more attention becomes a nasty habit. Should we not explicitly seek attention for ourselves we would be on the look for thrill and news more news sad news horrible or extraordinary stories because we are numb and nothing, unless super significant, can fire our neurons.
