Everytime I hear Dimon speak I’m reminded he got there not by skill, but by grift, fraud, coercion and all other bad things as highlighted by nostr:npub1g0587hzzckcncxfm78n0996qe2s58nspy29wf02tqcj5sdzcpj4q6j40hv
He doesn’t come across as particularly sharp, though he is no doubt shrewd. Like a thug.
Natives were never enslaved. They were disenfranchised. Stone age tribes that hadn't even invented the wheel could have never hoped to resist the spread of civilization. It started in the middle east over 6000 years ago, and has been evolving and spreading across the globe ever since, setting up franchises. When one franchise fails somewhere another takes it's place and the idea lives on.
