Few practical, but important tips for lightning network users (not the operators or LSP):

1. Not your node, not your wallet, not your bitcoin.

2. LN-BTC = paper bitcoin with same amount of real bitcoin as a collateral on Bitcoin network. Need to consider who made the contract & collateral.

3. You should not have too much BTC in LN-BTC.

That is true but we are grateful to the people out there who are taking some risk and running channels and trying to earn fees etc. because they are building the network and they will make fortunes at critical mass.

Sit on the sidelines if you want to or be part of the solution.
