I have been thinking a lot lately about why the social experience on Nostr is so much better than on Twitter. Last week I mostly logged in there to publish my npub, and even for such a short time I felt triggered by the content and the peopel.

In first place the absence of an algorithm editing and mediating the experience has a massive impact on the experience. Also the absence of a max string length to the notes improves expressiveness and avoids misunderstandings and people nuking others just because of absence of context to make sense of what people says. But it’s not only the tec spec… we’re all bitcoiners basically in here, this means that there is enough “social cohesion” to lubricate interactions and avoid useless friction.

How long will it stay like this? I honestly don’t know, and I fear that mass adoption might spoil this situation. But on the other hand, mass adoption it’s very good news for the world. I strongly believe that once Twitter won’t be in the picture anymore, the world will be a better place.

Not long. I've already seen ancaps abusing everyone who doesn't fit into their worldview.

It's a great network but for better or worse humans will always be human

Their behavior doesn’t spread as fast though, there is hope 😊

I hope you're right friend.

Yesterday one told me that he "respects" men who wants to become women, but then starts a whole groomer conspiracy theory (the standard excuse for cancelling human rights) and calls for their elimination.

He then received a million Sats.

My thoughts are, will a circular economy lead to closed circular thinking?

It sounds like you met somebody that thinks it different from you. That is pretty normal actually.

Oh I'm so sorry.

I didn't realize it was ME being intolerant that's the issue here.

I'll promise to work really hard on my rigidness and learn to respect the rights of murderers more often

Murderers? Who murdered whom? You are triggered by people that thinks different than you. That’s it. I don’t blame *you* specifically.

But also, when did I say you are a problem or have one? That’s a hell of a Twitter attitude you have 😂😂😂
