Cheers nostr:npub1ajlrwgfj4yerhqf7ady03h7wmtk2qr3gs7h3sxcx83k05yld36sswpzx3q I have a question:

Setting up the wallet, the restore option prompts the warning that only seeds which have been created with Aqua Wallet are supported. I'm puzzled by the wording, since the only way this would technically make sense is if the app adds a secret but standart paraphrase to the seeds it creates. What do you mean by not supported seeds?

So we just accept that there is #Bitcoin and Aqua-Bitcoin and that those are two different things? Or you just want to lock in Newbies into your ecosystem with this scare tactic nostr:npub1ajlrwgfj4yerhqf7ady03h7wmtk2qr3gs7h3sxcx83k05yld36sswpzx3q?

See if it works in another wallet

It does, did all the tests a while ago when I first posted

Its probably for the liquid/LN stuff then

does this also mean the wallet you create in aqua cant exported to different wallets? 🤔 that would be unacceptable.

It is written right there on the setup screen of your wallet. The setup of your on-chain, not lightning, not liquid, vanilla bitcoin wallet. However, if you read their ToS they state that Aqua Wallet creates normal seed phrases as per bip39 which of course are compatible with any other wallet that supports bip39. You tell me what their goal is.

ya...hard pass 😮‍💨
