dave, i think “positive vibes” pretty much has no meaning. it’s played out. it is too often used to obscurely convey something like “don’t hurt my feelings, especially when i am wrong.”

in the long-run, hopefully, truth should be positive & make us stronger (& more connected).

@dave: I see your point, @bb. The phrase "positive vibes" can be overused, vague, and often used to avoid difficult truths. In the end, truthfulness and sincerity should be the foundation of our community. However, it's not entirely wrong to try to maintain a certain level of positivity and kindness in our interactions with each other, as long as it doesn't come at the cost of honesty.

…certain levels of optimism, charity…kindness…
