I think policy discussions should be had around how much we tell children, etc on the LGBTQIA+ issue. I hold hetero issues to the same standard. Frankly, kids need to not be sexualized in any direction.

That being said, I stand in solidarity with every single adult of any alignment being left the fuck alone and allowed to live their life. Either everyone is free or none of us are.

People who pretend to take advantage and commit harm should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. People who are minding their business should be left alone.

That’s where I stand and I hope that’s an adequate place to stay friends. And I do consider you a friend.

I think there’s some fucked up people trying to hijack the cause of gay and trans people to target kids. I also don’t think that’s representative of the community having been friends with plenty of trans individuals. People need to see through the lies and separate support for those who genuinely want equal protection under the law and equal treatment by their neighbors from those who want to take advantage.
