I held ETH from $80 to $3500 until 2021. So not the worst of investments (perspectives vary), but glad to get out of it. Put it all back in to BTC to top it up, and continue to hold…

Hmm, might be a waiting game. It kind of traces the ups with bitcoin so could well be worth dumping it when it passes your original buy point. People here will mock ETH but I still feel it has some utility with its smart contracts etc. It’s just not freedom money. However, don’t listen to me. No one knows what the future holds.
Yep, that's what I'm hoping that when #btc hits 100k, it will go up to my original level
#btc at $100k will likely fall back a bit so expect the same for ETH. That’s short term. All depends on how long you want to hold. I got rid of all my ETH as I believe in BTC far far more, especially 4 or 9 years down the line. Again, just a personal view (not financial advice).
We all find the path in our own way.
God knows it took me 7 years of bumbling through scams, losing hope and giving up to eventually get slapped in the face by the realization that Bitcoin was not dead, and more real than the dollar.
Obviously, you're free to do what you wish with your own money, but personally I wouldn't be holding out to break even in dollar terms.
Despite whatever gains ETH may have made in dollar terms over the last year, it's down more than 37% against Bitcoin and that trend shows no sign of slowing...
