Anyone on here with/wanting kids willing to have a purely logical discussion on the topic?

The closest I have ever come to understanding the decision to reproduce came from such a discussion.

It boiled down to a fundamental difference in perceived value of human life, where I place zero value on life that doesn’t exist yet, while the very reasonable person I was speaking with did see value in life that hadn’t yet been born.

Since I very much enjoyed the opportunity to work through this very complex topic with another intelligent human, I am hoping that someone else on here who also has the benefit of anonymity may be able/willing to go even deeper.

Thanks in advance - I know it’s not an easy thing to think about for many.
