Yes I frequently get a “failed fetching Lightning invoice” error when I try to zap people. It seems to occur when I try to send a private zap to someone’s personal node.
It seems to have worked on your note - but still shows the little “timer” icon so it hasn’t confirmed in Damus yet.
(I’m also doing this directly from a self custodial mobile wallet, not using NWC).

Both zaps showed up in my Damus notifications, BTW. It just took a few minutes.
