Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, joined the chorus of several other countries, including Argentina, Chile, Panama, Uruguay, and Spain, in denouncing the Venezuelan elections as fraudulent. He also stated that his country severed diplomatic relations with Venezuela four years ago and will not reopen them until true elections are held in the country.
