He lives down in the coastal Louisiana bayous. The black bears here aren't huge like kodiaks or browns but they can hurt ya just the same. And theyre protected here so the best case scenario is that he can scare it away if it approaches him.
Sounds scary to me. I've heard some parts of south texas are seeing more bears now, but thankfully not here.
