Understand the sentiment. I don't want to see chuck, nancy, feinstein, McConnell, Biden etc, etc...
But that would have also excluded Ron Paul for 2008.
He was already excluded by the people who would never vote for someone opposed to government spending because they are the ones voting to spend all the money on themselves.
Put the profligate spending by the out to pasture class at tension with the desires of their politicians to keep their grip on power.
You shouldn’t get to continually burden future generations with spending designed to benefit you and your cohort while also keeping your grip on power decades after you leave the workforce.
There are plenty of young libertarians who could get elected if they weren’t fighting uphill battles against decades of inertia and name recognition. 🤷♂️
