It’s not an open dime. That is a 9v battery connector. My cold card will never be plugged into mains nor a computer. Not ever

Wi-Fi can be transmitted over power cables was enuf for me. Using a battery I never have to dedicate any brain space to it.

Almost over kill to protect your assets but better safe then sorry if you look back in history humans have implemented outrageous contraptions to protect there wealth mostly resulting in death this is just the more modern way to protect against hackers or any other bad actor IMO
Watch this. It’s long but worth the time invested if you get one in my opinion. The cold card coupled with sparrow is a beast
