Regarding the sober / promise story, I'm calling bullshit. It probably took 30+ days to record the tracks and make the videos. I think the only guys he promised sobriety to are his agent, Ben Shapiro, and Dan Bongino. The fact he told that story at all just reeks of disingenuous, let alone the bullshit time line. It's like he needed a causal explanation to sell the public about his meteoric rise, because he knew he was a product being marketed by corporate / political handlers.

Note that his first song starts "I've been selling my soul." They always put the truth in plain sight.
