Got one for 60$

They're good to have. Planning on hanging it form the ceiling or setting it on a stand?

Probably a stand, I kick pretty hard. I’ll probably just go back to the gym. It’d be good to get back into sparring. I feel soft these days

I got this one a few years back. It holds my 100lbs bag pretty good.

I gotta have a 150 lbs bag I think. One time I broke the mount on one in the gym, and it was totally because I am a super human Chad and it totally wasn’t a coincidence lol

Jesus, how thick are ya? Haha

I fought at 135 and 145lbs. I'm a small guy, so a 100lbs bag is plenty for me. It does move a lot when I kick it, but I don't mind it, because it allows me to move around it and change angles.

I would probably fight at 145 but I think I’m probably around 160 rn. When I started training I was 200 lbs lol. I’m pretty small, 5’7, 72’ reach

100lbs would probably be enough, I’m just used to the 150lbs bags. I think my friend had a 100 lbs bag

Do you roll too, or strike only?

I’ve done maybe 10 bjj classes, I like rolling but I’m trash. I have done a lot of kickboxing though. I definitely need to do bjj to round out my game and maybe actually get into mma

Fair enough. I did kickboxing and boxing at for the first couple of years that I started training. Then, I got into rolling. That's when I started competing in MMA.

Eventually, when I became self employed with no insurance, I switched to rolling only.

I haven't trained in a couple of years, but I'd like to get back into it. the gyms around my area just don't allow drop ins, only members can join. It's just not worth the price, if I can only go two-three times a month.

The gym I trained at allows it but it’s $20 per class, or like $140/month for unlimited. I’m just lazy and I use the excuse that I’m too tired from work to be able to go. I used to train 5 days a week 😭
